The Richmond Olympic Oval is a multi-sport and fitness facility including a fitness centre, enhanced fitness classes, climbing wall, basketball court, and Olympic size ice rink. With its beautiful design, sustainable systems, and world-class equipment, the Olympic Oval has been awarded honours in a variety of categories from architecture to accessibility.

• Waste heat from ice making is recovered and used for domestic hot water heating.
