Project Description

The new Lynn Fripps Elementary School will be built in Langley, BC, Canada. It is a two-storey building, facing south, with a total floor area of 92,600 ft2 (8,610 m2), including classroom, multi-purpose rooms, library, admin area, and a gym. Unit ventilators provide HVAC to all spaces except the gym which has its own AHU. Heating and cooling are both hydronic from a combination of central heat pumps and boilers. Mechanical cooling is given only to the admin area and multi-purpose rooms.
